ARCHonsortium, LLC [ARC-UN-SOR-SHUM] ARCHonsortium, LLC is an alliance of design practices comprising each of the architectural and engineering disciplines for sites and structures. Based in Indianapolis, the consortium derived from an original organization formed in 2002 of the same name and co-founded by David R. Franklin, AIA. Joining Mr. Franklin as principals are Carey L. Anderson Jr., AIA, Lisa Jeff, P.E. (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing); John T. Thompson, MBA (Structural); and William Shrewsberry, (Civil). Together, the principals and their respective practices provide an aggregate staff of over 90 personnel, including 36 licensed design professionals. Each of the current principals was involved in the signature project of the predecessor organization, the new $90 million, 7100-space primary parking structure and ground transportation center at the Indianapolis International Airport (completion Fall 2008). As co-founder of ARCHonsortium, Mr. Franklin served as Vice-Chairman and Principal Project Manager of the Indianapolis airport project, and as one of its principal designers. CMID provided all mechanical, electrical & plumbing design for the project, while Shrewsberry & Associates provided Owner’s representation and site services.
